The Small School's Technology Planner

Online and blended learning design should not be driven by the constraints of individual application types.  Rather, designers should combine Learning Management, eLearning modules, and Learning Content Management as appropriate.   The Small School's Technology Planner was Learning Content used to support the practicum model of technology planning support for K-12 school clients from 1994 to 2002.  As part of an activity-based approach, this guide highlighted a small set of concrete strategies (e.g. full-stakeholder planning teams, technology turnkey trainers, design studio cycles) that establish supportive patterns, rather than presenting abstracted concepts.  "The Role of Time, Space and Culture" was a reflective evaluation of the first year of this approach.
